Dear Members 

Each year our Golf Course Maintenance Team schedule our annual course grooming. This year this is planned for Sunday, 5th December where the course will close for play in the afternoon and will reopen on Tuesday, 7th December.  

Scope of works: 

• Hollow core greens, surrounds, tees and fairways.
• Scarify greens, surrounds, tees and fairways. 

It is anticipated that recovery for greens will take approximately 3-4 weeks with the fairways being progressively addressed over the following weeks. Note; there will be some disturbance whilst we are renovating, we seek our patience as this process is necessary to improve the playing surfaces long term by regularly removing excess thatch.

In the coming weeks, we will be providing Members with rates for alternate courses during the recovery period…
